Still early in his journalism career, EJ has dabbled in various aspects of multimedia. While at Hunter College, where he graduated with a degree in Media Studies, EJ served as a sports radio talk show host for almost three years at WHCS.

In his senior year, he would become President/GM of WHCS. His responsibilities included oversight of all station operations such as programming content, promotions, and scheduling.

At Hunter, EJ also served as a play-by-play, and color analyst for the Hunter Hawks Men’s and Women’s basketball team in 2013 and a contributor to the Hunter publications “The Envoy”, “The Word”, and “The Bridge,” for Sports and general interests pieces.

During the Summer and Fall of 2011, EJ interned at “Transit Transit Newsmagazine,” where he worked as a Production Assistant. During his time with “Transit Transit,” he produced news stories, edited video, and shot interviews and B-Roll footage.

In his first semester at the CUNY Graduate School of Journalism, EJ’s “Bayside Co-Op and Condo Owners Say Taxes Increases Are Unfair” was featured in the Queens Courier.

EJ currently interns on “The Morning Show” at 94WIP Sportsradio in Philadelphia.

EJ is a Queens native, and graduated from St. Francis Prep in Fresh Meadows. At St. Francis Prep, Elijah played basketball for four years, including two years of varsity, along with one year of football.
